Sitar
Jonathan, the son of the legendary composer and co-founder Indo Jaz fusion late John Mayer and violinist Gillian Mayer, started his sitar training at a very early age from Clem Alford, Pandit Subroto Roychowdhury of Senior Gharana and Wajahat Khan, three prominent names in North Indian Classical Music.

He has toured extensively with Indo Jazz Fusion in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the UK.  Jonathan is also in demand as a session music and appears regularly on television and radio.

Jonathan also forms part of Padhanisa which is a trio consisting of guitar, sitar and tabla
