Banni and Indrani combine music and dance in an entertaining repertiore that includes traditional Asian music, Bengali folk, classical dance, Bollywood and many more.
Banni is trained in both classical and contemporary asian music. She received training in Sitar as well as vocal music from music maestros such as Pundi Manilala Nag.
She draws inspiration from many traditions and performs in English, Urdu Tamil, Hindi and Bengali.
Indranni started her training in Ballet at the age of 4, before switching to Kathak (a north indian classical dance form).
She has had extensive training in both Kathak from several well known dance teachers including Guru Teerath Ajmani.
Indranni is a member of the Scottish Ballet Association and recently appeared on BBC2 'Scotlands Empire'.
Her dance repertiore includes Kathak, traditional Indian, Bengali folk dance and Bollywood classics.
Banni and Indranni have performed across the UK and India at Melas, Diwali, Eid celebrations, music events and for charity and corporate launches. |
